What is a Urban Legends City Quest
An Urban Legends City Quest is an immersive city game where you take on the role of a cryptologist. By solving riddles, finding clues and making connections, you ensure that an age-old legend is unraveled. The game combines elements of a treasure hunt, murder mystery, geocaching and an escape room.
How to play a Urban Legends City Quest
Our activity takes place in Amsterdam. You will meet a game supervisor at the starting point who will tell you more about the urban legend and the investigation in which your help is requested as a player. After this, you will receive a mysterious box and a folder with real archive documents to kick off your quest. By solving puzzles, the chest opens and you follow a route of approximately 2.5 km through the old city center. At the end point you will be met again by the game supervisor for your first successfully completed game Urban Legends City Quest to celebrate.
From when can you The House with the Bloodstains to play?
Our first city game in Amsterdam The House with the Bloodstains will be launched in April 2024 and is now available to be booked.
Is the city game Amsterdam a suitable activity for two persons?
Our game is a perfect activity for 2 people in Amsterdam. But it can also be booked as a group activity. In that case, we will divide your party into smaller groups of a maximum of 5 players. To add an extra element of competition you will then play against each other. Please contact us for more information contact us.
What is the activity duration?
Fast puzzlers complete the route in about 80 minutes. We give each group 2 hours to play the game. If things get tight, we will discuss whether there is room to get even some extra time.
Where are the start and end location?
The starting location is on the corner of the Amstel and Keizersgracht. You will receive more information about this by email after making a booking.
The final location remains secret for now. We can reveal that it is located in the historic city center of Amsterdam. You will always be welcomed at the start and end location by one of our game supervisors.

Do I have to bring materials myself?
We will provide you with all the materials for your Quest!You don't have to prepare anything special in advance. We do recommend that you wear comfortable shoes.
For what age is the game suitable?
We currently recommend an age of 15 years and older. It can be a bit more challenging for younger players. We expect to launch a game for students after the summer of 2024. Minors always serve
In which languages is the game available?
Our games are available in Dutch and English. You can select your preferred language during the booking process.
Can I change/cancel booking?
You can change or cancel your booking up to 24 hours in advance. If something unexpected happens on the day itself, please contact us by telephone so that we can look at the possibilities. In the event of a no-show, booking costs will not be refunded.
